Our Story

I started this scholarship program because I understand what it feels like to carry responsibilities, setbacks, dreams, and sacrifices all at once — especially as a woman over 35 trying to create a better future through education.

So many women from the 70s, 80s, and 90s generations spent years putting everyone else first. We became caregivers, mothers, providers, survivors, employees, and problem-solvers. Many of us delayed our own goals while supporting families, working multiple jobs, overcoming hardships, or simply trying to survive life’s challenges. Somewhere along the way placing our dreams on hold.

But it is never too late to start over.

I created this scholarship program to remind women that their goals still matter. Education can open doors to financial stability, confidence, independence, healing, and new opportunities — but returning to school later in life often comes with financial barriers, self-doubt, and limited support.

This program was built to change that.

The mission of the scholarship is not only to provide financial assistance, but also to encourage, uplift, and empower women who are courageous enough to bet on themselves again. Whether a woman is pursuing a degree, certification, trade, or career change, she deserves support while building a better future for herself and her family.

I believe women carry wisdom, resilience, strength, and determination that deserve to be invested in. Sometimes all someone needs is one opportunity, one helping hand, or one person who believes in them.

This scholarship is my way of being that support for someone else.

The vision began with one scholarship award and a simple purpose: to help one woman at a time. Over time, I hope to grow this program into a lasting community movement that creates opportunities for many more women to pursue education without feeling forgotten, overlooked, or financially defeated.

Dreams do not expire with age.
Every woman deserves the chance to rise, rebuild, and succeed.
